This week I worked on a marriage wall quilt for my son and his new bride. I have not gotten a full shot yet do to the cold weather. It will be finished as soon as I add the boarder. Each tiny piece is satin stitched on. The distelfinks are Pennsylvania Dutch love birds.

Federal Building Finished
The Federal Building is finished and my machine is in the shop. This quilt will be auctioned of as a fund raiser for the Danville Community Arts Center. This is not a great picture of the finished quilt. You cannot see all the quilted art designs in the sky. The border was made of 5 different yarns braided and stitched on with mono filament thread.
I also finished quilting my "celebrating home" blocks and mailed in photos for the 2009 calendar contest.
