I am currently starting on several new quilting projects, one is of the Community Arts Center to help celebrate the centennial of the building. It will go in an auction in March to raise money for the center.
I am also working on another donation quilt for KEA for my husband. Just for fun I am working on a new quilt that I will try to construct as a quilted shadow box with quilted items over lapping for depth. Picture of my progress will be posted.

Exhibit Photo
My quilt exibit will be up for the month of January. My quilts fill one room at the Arts Center. The Boyle County quilt guild members each have a quilt in the downstairs exhibit room. Meet the artist night was interesting, it was awkward being the center of attention. Despite the terrible weather (pouring rain and tornado watches) we had a good turn out. The Women of the Bible quilt behind me is 7ft. by 14ft.

Triple Irish Chain
Friday, I finally had time to sew the top of my triple Irish chin quilt together. This picture is just arranging the blocks. The boarders will be from a Seminole pattern. I still have a lot to do for that. The center of the larger blocks have sunflowers done with free motion quilting in gold metallic thread.

Meandering Threads Quilt Exhibit
My first art quilt exhibit is open! It is at the Danville Community Arts Center in Danville, KY. Meet the artist is on Thursday, January 10th from 6-8pm. The exhibit will be up for the entire month.
The Women of the Bible quilt is one of the 16 quilts to be displayed. I will post more about each quilt in the exhibit and close-ups as I get a chance.
